Bodhi has an important meaning in Buddhism, referring to awakening or enlightenment. The Bodhi tree, traditionally identified as the sacred fig tree, Ficus religiosa, is closely associated with the Buddha because Siddhartha Gautama is traditionally said to have attained enlightenment while meditating beneath a Bodhi tree at Bodh Gaya in India.

108 Bodhi Seed Mala Beads for Meditation
