The wood used for these Mala beads contains a natural dye to produce its characteristic red colour.  The red dye can run if the Mala becomes wet, particularly before natural body oils have formed a protective seal through regular wearing.For this reason, keep your Red Wood Mala dry and avoid wearing it in water or exposing it to excessive moisture.
