Pterocarpus macrocarpus is a medium-sized tree growing 10–30 meters tall (occasionally up to 39 meters), with a trunk diameter of up to 1.7 meters. It is deciduous in the dry season. Although not a true rosewood, it is often marketed as such due to its similarity.
