1) Shipping

Monk Mala Shipping and Returns

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. It can take a few days more to visit the Monks for the Monks Blessing of the Mala. Orders are not shipped on Sundays or Buddhist Religious holidays. Sadly shipping from Thailand around the world is more expensive than other countries. We have done our best to provide the cheapest shipping options available, and have made a Free Shipping policies on orders over a $70 amount for your convenience.

Shipping Costs

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout before payment. An estimate can also be generated on the cart page for your convenience.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Monk Mala is not responsible for any local customs and/or taxes applied to your order. All fees (tariffs, taxes, etc.) imposed after shipping are the responsibility of the customer. We do under value items in custom declarations to try and ensure zero custom charges for our customers

United States of America

The shipping speeds of Thailand Post to USPS are very expensive and slow. We have opted to use a shipping service, which sends bulk shipping 3 times a week to the States, unloads them and uses USPS domestic mail. All of our tracking information will be for local domestic USPS and will start once the item arrives in the States. Shipping is about 2 weeks. For orders under $70 shipping is set at $3.95 to the United States.

Worldwide

We use Thai post for shipping to other countries. Tracking details will start from Thailand and once the tracking leaves Thailand, it is the responsibility of your local Post Office. Worldwide tracking requires a signature at delivery, so we suggest including your phone number for the postal service if you are not home. Worldwide shipping is set at $3.95 for orders under $70

2) EASY RETURNS

Our Shipping and Returns Policy

All sales are considered final. Monk Mala has sold many thousands of Buddhist Prayer Beads and we know that our items are accurately represented on the website. If you are not pleased with your purchase for valid reason (such as damaged goods or wrong item sent) and would like to return any item(s) for a refund or initiate an exchange of item(s), please feel free to contact us at Monk Mala. Our staff will be happy to assist you.

Damaged Item Return?

We will accept returns on all items that were delivered in damaged condition at our expense. So long as products are returned to us in new condition.

We will accept returns 30 days from the day our products are shipped out. Please make sure you contact us within this 30 day window from the date you made your purchase or you will not be eligible to make the return for a full refund.

To initiate the return process, please email us at Monk Mala. and let us know your order number and item(s) from that order that you wish to return. You can then return the items at paid by receiver to:

Wrong Item Return?

We will accept returns on all items that were delivered and were not what you ordered. So long as products are returned to us in new condition.

Looking to Exchange or Refund?

We will accept exchanges on all items that were not purchased from special on-site sales or any clearance collection. All we ask is that the products are returned to us in new condition.

We will accept exchanges 30 days from the day our products are shipped out. Please make sure you contact us within this 30 day window from the date you made your purchase or you will not be eligible to make the exchange.

To initiate the exchange process, please email us at mala@monkmala.com and let us know your order number and item(s) from that order that you wish to exchange or have refunded. Return Postage is at your expense and depending on the weight of the item is about $6-12. Refunds will be issued upon receipt of the item returned

Shipping will be an extra charge in additional to the credit value returned for the exchange.

We manually inspect all items carefully before they are shipped to our customers, however unfortunately errors do occur.

If you received a damaged, defective or incorrect item, please do not hesitate to email us at Monk Mala.

To speed up the process, please include your order number and photos of the item(s) in question and we’ll reship a replacement package to you promptly.
